Importance of security analyst cannot be overemphasized in this digital age where internet is becoming a scary world with numerous digital threats such as ransomware, spyware, cyber frauds, network attack and rogue software’s lurking around to be activated, with or without the click of a button.
Most recently, he was recognized for spotting a bug known as Cross-site Scripting (XSS), wherein a hacker can execute malicious scripts to a legitimate website or web applications. This earned him a place in Google’s list of bug reporters, Google Hall of Fame.
Google runs a Vulnerability Reward Program (VRP) for security research community who discover and report any vulnerability in Google-owned web properties. Google usually honors people for finding mistakes in its main domain and devices. Google is reported to be currently working on fixing the Cross-site Scripting (XSS).
In addition to the Google Hall Of Fame, Mr. Remesh Ramachandran has also received special recognition from international companies such as Lenovo, Intel, Microsoft, Google, Avira, Alien Volt to name a few. Prior to his position at Hazida Group as the Senior IT Security Manager, He worked as an independent consultant for Information Security & Infrastructure Solutions where he worked with police Cybercrime department in Dubai and Kerala on numerous cybercrime Investigations, some of which attained national attention. In addition, Mr. Remesh also supports EC Council leading Exam CHFI (Computer Hacking and Forensic Investigation) advisory board.
