How Price Matching Works
Price-match requests are evaluated against identical 4C specifications (carat, cut, color, clarity) and certificate numbers from recognized gemological labs, including IGI and GIA. Customers can submit requests through Vellia Vey’s client care channels, including WhatsApp and email, for review.
The company said the policy is intended to address pricing opacity in the diamond retail market. Vellia Vey sources diamonds through what it describes as a manufacturer-to-consumer supply model, working directly with its own manufacturing operations rather than through third-party distributors — an approach the company says allows it to offer certified diamonds without the additional markups associated with multi-tier distribution.
