In 2013, he opened the Nunzio Saviano Salon between Lexington & Park Avenues on the Upper East Side. This striking, intimate two-story salon in a classic brownstone offers full hair care and cutting services under Nunzio’s detail-oriented eye.
For Nunzio, there is no “signature cut” because the signature should be your own – a custom style that makes you look and feel good. That philosophy has served him as he has developed a loyal following throughout his tenure in NYC with stints at Oscar Blandi and Sharon Dorram at Sally Hershberger prior to opening his namesake salon. To create highly-personalized looks for his clientele, Nunzio draws inspiration from his native Italy and the sights and sounds of New York City. He keeps an eye on current trends from the runway and fashion

magazines, pairing this with an appreciation for the classics. And then, after thorough study of facial structure, hair texture and lifestyle, he delivers a tailor-made cut all your own. This singular, detail-oriented approach to hair has landed Nunzio on Allure’s annual “Best of the Best” Beauty Directory an impressive six years, New York Magazine’s “Best of New York” and InStyle’s Beauty Black Book.
To keep his skills honed, Nunzio stays active in the editorial world, producing memorable hairstyles for numerous publications, including Surface, Oyster and LA Confidential as well as creating runway looks backstage at New York Fashion Week. He also has filmed styling demos for Allure.com and GoodHousekeeping.com and is a regular go- to expert of all things hair for multiple publications including Allure, InStyle, Marie Claire, More, Us Weekly and Vanity Fair, to name a few.
Additionally, Nunzio has previously worked with notables such as Angelica Huston, Brooke Shields, Megan Hilty, Emme, T Kelli O’Hara and Elisabeth Röhm.
