BRICK, NJ – The stage is set for the best national lacrosse teams in the country to compete against each other in the first NLU event this summer. Introducing the National Lacrosse Union (NLU), a collaboration of the top national lacrosse programs, formed in 2018 by its original founding organizations, True, Dukes and Mad Dog Lacrosse clubs. These founding lacrosse clubs earned their stripes in 2018 with the Dukes winning at Naptown; Mad Dog Lacrosse winning at Sandstorm and True Lacrosse winning the NLF National Championship.

In 2019, The NLU has partnered with top contending lacrosse clubs, among others are, Lax Mafia National Team (formerly Team 91 National Team), earning 3 national titles in 2018, including NLF; Georgia Tigers Elite National Team, combining the most talented lacrosse players in the Southeast, who took several championships in 2018, including the FLG Midsummer Showdown.

The National Lacrosse Union emulates the AAA Hockey model; an elite league for youth and high school lacrosse programs’ national teams.
