NEW YORK, NY, August 3, 2026 — Coursera has announced a $100 million investment in LearnVector, a new education technology company established by AI pioneer Andrew Ng, due to an increasing demand for artificial intelligence skills across workplaces throughout the globe.
It was revealed by Coursera that the investment will provide the online learning platform with a roughly one-third share of LearnVector, thus giving the startup a valuation of some $300 million. As described by the firm itself, LearnVector will be developing AI-native learning solutions that will personalize the lessons for each user rather than sticking to a one-size-fits-all format for online lessons. This first product line-up will be rolled out sometime in early 2027 and will cater to businesses, governments, and higher education establishments.
